October 27, 2018 – Community Give Back Bus

??????! That’s what we hope to bring to the table with each Give Back Bus ride. This particular bus brought about 30 people over to the Fox Valley Human Association where we cleaned kennels, hung tarps to help shield animals from the snow, filled Kong toys with peanut butter, and even helped with a garage project that will house animal food. This garage project will help the Humane Association build a recovery room for ring worm cats–which will help them save even MORE lives.

“We helped hang tarps on the dog runs. The person who led this job said it would normally take him over 4 hours to do this work,” One Give Back Bus participant mentioned in their survey comments. “We had it done in less than an hour.”

What a day we had out at the Fox Valley Humane Association – surprising our Give Back Bus guests was a blast and we can’t wait to see where the next bus takes us. Thanks to our brave bus-goers and the staff at FVHA for allowing us to come and make an impact on our community.
