Sam Vosters: Future 15 Making a Difference

Our Difference-Maker of the Day today holds a special place in Volunteer Fox Cities’ heart because they’ve been sharing their time and talents with us for the past 4 years as a member of our Board of Directors: Sam Vosters

This week during Miron Construction Make a Difference Week we’ve been lifting up different ways people are impacting their community through volunteerism. One group we haven’t touched on yet are young professionals.

When young professionals volunteer, they build valuable skills, expand their networks, and gain meaningful experience while giving back to their communities. Volunteering early in your career strengthens leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, enhances career prospects, and fosters empathy and purpose—making it both personally and professionally rewarding.

This week, the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce held their Future 15 Young Professional Awards, and Sam Vosters was among the 15 honorees positively influencing quality of life in the Fox Cities.

Sam works as the Marketing Operations Specialist with U.S. Venture Inc. and holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication and Media Studies from UW Oshkosh. She joined the Volunteer Fox Cities Board in 2021, and has also volunteered with Leaven, Catalpa, and is a member of the Women’s Fund for the Fox Valley Region’s Brighter Female Futures “BFF” group.

“Sam shows up with intention, energy, and creativity. She has helped Volunteer Fox Cities tremendously, especially with our marketing and fund development – bringing stories of impact to life,” shared Volunteer Fox Cities CEO Carolyn Desrosiers.

Thank you Sam, and all young professional volunteers for the difference you make in our community, and congratulations to all the 2025 Future 15 honorees!
