Volunteer Engagement Training Program

Elevate Your Volunteer Program with a Nationally Recognized Training Experience
Are you ready to take your volunteer program to the next level? Volunteer Fox Cities—in partnership with the Bay Area Managers of Volunteer Services (BAMVS) and Volunteer Action Council (VAC) Fox Cities—is offering the Volunteer Engagement Training Program (VETP), a nationally recognized training series developed by Points of Light.

This dynamic, in-person learning experience is designed for volunteer administrators, coordinators, and anyone who manages or supports volunteers.

About the Program
VETP is facilitated by Brad Creighton, who will guide participants through the full curriculum with support from several regional co‑facilitators.

Through multiple interactive modules and virtual workshops, participants gain the knowledge, tools, and confidence to build and sustain a strong volunteer program—all while connecting with a supportive network of peers who understand the work and share your passion.

Thank you to Thrivent for sponsoring this cohort and ensuring this training remains affordable for volunteer engagement professionals across the Fox Valley.

Fall 2026 Schedule Coming Soon!

Participant Testimonial:
“While I’ve had many years of hands‑on learning with volunteer management, this course really gave me a firm foundation for developing and implementing a solid volunteer program.”
— Ann Marie Lahti, COMSA (Fall 2025 Cohort)
