As we continue our celebration of service during the Miron Construction Make a Difference Week, we’re pleased to highlight an outstanding volunteer recommended to us by our friends at Outagamie County Volunteer Services: Scott Schupbach.
Scott is a Volunteer Driver and Volunteer Family Interaction Supervisor and has been volunteering for 6 years with Outagamie County Volunteer Services.
As a volunteer driver, Scott assists county employees by transporting Health & Human Services clients (adults or children) to visitations, therapy, medical appointments, etc. Volunteer drivers help people get the services they need.
As a family interaction supervisor, Scott oversees visits between children and their parents or other family members to ensure a safe and healthy visit when children are placed in alternate care. This crucial service helps keep families connected.
Scott is well respected by all workers in the county. He often takes on last-minute requests and is very flexible to help workers meet the needs of clients as a driver and supervisor. He supervises many cases and is supportive of the clients as well as the workers. Scott volunteers nearly every day and is always willing to accept one more request.
Thank you, Scott, for being a Difference-Maker!
